A new physical edition of Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will go on sale in retail stores next month, Microsoft has announced. Included in the box will be the base game as well as seven DLC packs (which are already available digitally on the Xbox Store) that add heaps of new textures and skins for players to further customize their own worlds for that added touch of personality.
The post on the Xbox Wire blog by Minecraft‘s marketing manager Jaime Limon reads:
Starting later this spring, we’ll be releasing a new option in retail stores for you to pick up for your collection – the Minecraft: Xbox One Edition Favorites Pack. The Favorites Pack, which has been available digitally since last fall, is a new purchasing option in addition to the standard Minecraft: Xbox One Edition which is already out today. It includes the base Minecraft: Xbox One Edition game and seven of the best-selling add-on packs for you to play with.
You can see the full list of included add-on content below:
• Battle & Beasts Skin Pack
• Battle & Beasts 2 Skin Pack
• Natural Texture Pack
• City Texture Pack
• Fantasy Texture Pack
• Festive Mash-up
• Halo Mash-up
The Favorites Pack will hit North America on June 7 and costs $29.99 – cheaper than if you were to buy all of the content separately, and is the perfect follow-up to scratch your Minecraft itch after the conclusion of Minecraft: Story Mode in March.
