Are any ‘Love Island USA’ couples still together?

Drum roll please...

Ever since Love Island hit the U.K. in 2015, the reality dating show has been a smash hit. When the franchise meandered over to the U.S. in 2019, hopes were high for similar success. Thankfully, it delivered.

The show is going on five successful seasons, and is now streaming on Peacock after migrating from CBS in 2022. Said migration led to many of the constraints that befell the competition in its first three seasons falling by the wayside; on streaming, contestants have much more flexibility to be naughty than on network television, and we all love a little naughty reality TV. (If you’re anything like me, at least).

Aside from each season’s winner, the biggest question on the tip of everyone’s tongue after each respective season is whether the couples that left the island together have stayed together. Can you really meet your prince charming or princess on a dating show? Well, I’ll let you decide that for yourself.

Which Love Island USA couples are still together?

Drum roll, please. And the couples from Love Island USA who are still together are…

Ahem, all right give us a second while we check our notes. Yes, here we are. The couples who are still together are… Well, that’s disappointing.

As of this writing, only two couples from Love Island USA seasons 1 through 4 are still together and living their happily ever afters. Any guess which ones? I’ll give you a hint: It’s none from seasons 1 or 2.

Kyra Lizama and Will Moncada (season 3)

Kyra and Will from Love Island season 3 had a rocky start to their relationship, but have done what all good love stories do and worked it out. After splitting up three months after that season’s conclusion in Nov. 2021, Kyra made an Instagram announcement that she and Will had split and were “working through the stages of heartbreak and healing.” However, the pair were reportedly spotted together seven months later in June 2022 at Ganga Tattoo in Los Angeles, according to Us Weekly. Ever since, they have been happily advertising their public display of affection on Instagram. They are proof (so far, at least) that you really can find love on a dating show.

Sydney Paight and Isaiah Campbell (season 4)

Sure, this attractive pair were runners-up in season 4 and thus missed out on the $100,000 cash prize, but can you really put a price on true love? Sydney Paight and Isaiah Campbell had their moments of turmoil on the show, but they have worked it all out and are going stronger than ever, according to their Instagrams. Sydney is busy with her clothing brand Bella Boss, which she launched in Jan. 2023, while Isaiah is putting that smolder holder to good use with his modeling career.

Sydney and Isaiah have been light on Instagram posts since January 2023 in the photo above, but make no mistake, they are still still together, and still leave adorable comments on each other’s respective posts. Sydney commented “😍😍😍ENCANTOOO” on Isaiah’s Instagram post as early as Aug. 2023. In fact, their lack of content is probably the most relatable thing about this insanely attractive pair. Sometimes life goes on and you don’t post about your partner, but that doesn’t mean you’re not happy and in love.

There you have it. Only Kyra Lizama and Will Moncada from season 3 and Sydney Paight and Isaiah Campbell from season 4 are still together. Naturally, it doesn’t bode well for newer couples that those from earlier seasons have split up, as that implies time isn’t kind to Love Island alumni. However, as a hopeless romantic, I have faith.

What about season 5?

Season 5 of Love Island USA concluded on Aug. 27, and as the freshest season of the franchise, there are still plenty of happy couples living their best lives together. Taylor and Jonah are the only ones who haven’t provided a social media update on their relationship following the show’s conclusion so their status remains slightly up in the air. The rest are seemingly going strong.

In total, five couples, including the winning couple are still together. Here they are:

Season 6 of Love Island USA is expected to drop in the summer of 2024. When all is said and done, we’ll hopefully have another long list of happy couples to add to this list. Our only hope is that the aforementioned season 5 lovebirds stay together long enough to see it happen. If any relationship statuses change, we will update this article.
