Anchor Bay will be bringing The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season to Blu-Ray this August.
The popular AMC horror show The Walking Dead will be returning this Fall for season 3, with season 2 coming to Blu-Ray this August. The show, created by Frank Darabont, follows a group of survivors as they deal with a zombie outbreak that has taken over the world.
I’ve only seen season 1 on Blu-Ray and it was fantastic. I’m eagerly waiting the Blu-Ray release of season 2 so I can pick up exactly where I left off. A lot of people were on the fence about season 2, because of Darabont’s departure, but I’ve heard nothing but good things about the season.
The Blu-Ray will be presented in 1080p with either a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track or a Dolby TrueHD track. The press release tells us to expect tons of behind-the-scenes footage as well as featurettes and audio commentaries.

The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season will be available to own on August 28th, 2012.
