Hey you! The higher education institution of learning that I attended in my late teens/early twenties would absolutely destroy the higher education institution of learning that you attended during the same time span in your life in a full contact game revolving around an oblong ball! Ok, that’s not entirely true. Honestly, I’m surprised my school’s team could even find the field on a regular basis, let alone try to compete. However, that’s where the magic of video games comes in!
NCAA Football 13 hits store shelves July 10th, and with some proper scheming I may actually be able to field something that looks fairly respectable. EA Sports released the team ratings for some of the top teams this year, and while this is subject to change and sure to start a few arguments, some of their choices are…. questionable.
Notably, Stanford coming in at a 93 and Texas as a 99 seems fairly outrageous. Stanford lost their best player and the centerpiece of their offensive attack in Andrew Luck, and I’m not even sure where the rating for Texas is being pulled from. Granted, I’m not a college sports guru, but this seems off to me. We’ll have to see what the ratings actually look like come July. In the mean time, let’s see if we can avoid overturning my car in the parking lot out of protest.
