Well this all seemed to happen extremely fast, didn’t it? One minute we’re innocently flirting with God of War: Ascension, holding hands in the car, and then next thing you know, it’s halfway down our throats with a pre-order package. Not that I’m complaining, of course.
Amazon has now started taking orders for the collector’s edition of God of War: Ascension, which is surprising since the release date is set for March 12, 2013, just under a year away. This edition of the game, selling for $79.99, includes multiple incentives for spending the extra cash, which are listed below:
Collector’s Edition Contents:
• Exclusive 8″ Kratos Statue
• Premium Steelbook case
• Official Game Soundtrack (digital version)
• PS3 Dynamic Theme
• PSN Avatar Pack
• Multiplayer Double XP Unlock
• Pass for future DLC content
Although not much is known about this newest entry into the legendary God of War series, it’s already easy to get excited about the game, whether it’s because of the fantastic bonuses or the involvement of Santa Monica studios. Either way, the collector’s edition is looking like the choice of the Gods when God of War: Ascension takes the world by storm in 2013.
Is anybody else planning on giving up half of a paycheck for this jam packed edition?
