The Mandalorian is back for a third season, and returning is the series’ star, Pedro Pascal, reprising his role as Din Djarin. The show’s third season was met with a lot of hype due to Mando’s and Grogu’s reunion in The Book of Boba Fett last year and the actor’s ongoing rise to popularity thanks to HBO’s The Last of Us.
But for an actor with a known net worth of $10 million, and who has to face some risk on The Mandalorian set due to how visually restrictive his costume is, how much did Disney and Lucasarts pay him just so he could continue on in this popular Star Wars series?
How much is Pedro Pascal paid for The Mandalorian?
Unlike HBO’s The Last of Us and Game of Thrones, Pascal’s wage for The Mandalorian remains a mystery. This is odd considering that his former co-star, Gina Carano has disclosed how much she’s earned from the Star Wars series. However, it was reported that Pascal asked for a raise when he signed on for The Mandalorian‘s third installment.
While Pascal has not disclosed how much he’s earned from Disney, the actor has joked during his interview with Wired that he’s “rolling in cash” thanks to his recent success and compared himself to Demi Moore in Indecent Proposal.
It was reported back in 2020 that season three of The Mandalorian will be “bigger” compared to its previous two seasons. According to Business Insider, the show’s first season received a $100 million dollar budget and Collider reported that it cost around $15 million dollars to produce each episode. This made the series the most expensive to produce and this is just the first season alone. At the moment, the cost produce season two and three remains unknown.
But due to how successful Pascal has become, it wouldn’t be such a shock if the actor does receive a high paycheck for his role in the show.
