Superheroing is just one part of their skill-set.

Thanks to that pesky delay, we’re still three quarters of the year out from The Marvels reaching theaters, but at least Captain Marvel herself Brie Larson is supplying us with some breadcrumbs to tease the incoming crossover between three of the MCU’s most powerful heroines. Just in case you’ve missed the memo so far, this November’s sequel sees Carol Danvers teaming up with both Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani).

While we’ve no doubt got a lot of awe-inspiring super-powered action ahead of us, Larson has now revealed that one of her co-stars has a much more homely, and cozy, hobby. In her latest fan-satiating selfie, the Oscar-winning actress has revealed that her short-lived “beret szn” is already over as it’s apparently now “bonnet szn.” In the first image she posted on Twitter, Larson dons an Emily in Paris-friendly look while in the second she’s switched to a fetching knitted bonnet.

But who knitted this homespun headgear for her? Larson offered an answer by shouting out to Ms. Marvel herself, Iman Vellani, for “crocheting my dream bonnet.”

It’s true. Not only is Vellani the biggest Marvel fan to star in the MCU, she’s also skilled at knitwear too. Maybe that’s the career path she was going to go down before she accidentally became an actress? Either way, as one fan put it, she’s a “crochet queen.”

We haven’t even seen the pair share the screen yet (although Larson’s cameo in the Ms. Marvel finale came close), but Captain Marvel lovers are already adoring the real-life friendship the two actresses share.

Considering Kamala Khan is the world’s biggest Carol Danvers stan, this is yet another instance of life imitating art when it comes to Iman Vellani in the MCU.

This was likely far from the intention of her post, but the adorable story behind Larson’s latest selfie is exactly the thing to dispel any lingering bad air from those recent, and strongly disputed, rumors about on-set problems occuring between The Marvels cast. The movie itself shoots into cinemas this Nov. 10.
