At one point in life, Lindsay Lohan was a lost soul. The one-time child star cycled in and out of courthouses more than she did working sets, but these days, she’s happily put that all behind her as recent photos of her first-ever baby shower seem to show.
The 36-year-old posted the above on Instagram earlier today. In the gallery, there are professional shots mixed in with images of herself alongside husband Bader Shammas and other relatives and, in a contrast to much of the internet, comments here are almost universally positive. Sure, there are some trolls and spam, but those are drowned out by an ocean of good vibes. People are calling Lohan a queen and Shark Tank star Barbara Corcoran even says the entertainer is just radiating in each and every posted image.

A different comment from an account which expresses nostalgia for the 2000’s jokes they cannot believe the Teenage Drama Queen (Lohan starred in a film called Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, to be clear) is having a baby and, for another fan of the Mean Girls veteran, seeing her at peace after so many years of deep personal turbulence is enough to bring tears to ones’ eyes.

Lohan has not revealed a due date or the child’s gender as of this story’s filing. In a different Instagram post, she did share a child’s onesie with a note saying a birth would be coming soon. She and her husband are blessed and excited, and honestly, so are we.
