This Marvel fan’s terrifying M.O.D.O.K sculpture is pure nightmare fuel

There are just some things that shouldn't be created.

We can all agree that M.O.D.O.K.’s design is really weird across comics, the MCU, TV shows, and so on. But all those depictions can’t compete with one Marvel fan’s interpretation of this comic book villain. Fair warning, better hope you didn’t have a large breakfast.

Reddit user u/thatsvile13 created a sculpture that they claimed was inspired by M.O.D.O.K. Upon closer inspection, it kind of does, just without the mechanical suit, and it’s very frightening. We barely got to see what M.O.D.O.K. is like without the supervillain getup, especially inĀ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, but nobody asked to see this Marvel villain in his bare skin.

Scary right? Many Marvel fans who saw the sculpture on the r/Marvel subreddit were shocked, to say the least. However, alongside people’s horrified takes was some weird impressions of ironic love for the creature, despite its appearance.

However, some things shouldn’t be created, and people who saw the post jokingly urged the author and sculptor to undo what they’ve made. Such a shame that these people couldn’t find the beauty in this creation, even if it does look oddly mortifying.

If you think this M.O.D.O.K-inspired sculpture is bad, wait till you see their recreation of Krang that they made last year. It’s much more horrifying and much more lifelike than what we’ve seen in other Marvel material and probably beat Marvel Studios to the punch in creating a life-like rendition of this Marvel character.

Scrolling through the author’s page, they have a history of making lifelike sculptures. So if you want to see more creepy, yet interesting creations, you can see more via their Reddit page.
