The newest installment of the franchise that cemented Tom Cruise’s tenure as an action star is almost here. You might want to block out your calendar because Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One has a lengthy runtime of 163 minutes, or two hours and 43 minutes (though some sources clock it as two hours and 36 minutes). For perspective, that’s longer than Avengers: Infinity War (149 minutes) but not as long as Avengers: Endgame (181 minutes). While the films have been creeping up in length since the original 1996 film (a respectable 110 minutes), the newest installment is easily the longest movie in the franchise.
