25 More Films Added To The Library Of Congress

The National Film Registry has added its annual bunch of 25 films to the Library of Congress, these are films deemed to be "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant. Notably included in the wide range of films are The Empire Strikes Back, The Exorcist, All the President's Men, Saturday Night Fever and Airplane!

The National Film Registry has added its annual bunch of 25 films to the Library of Congress, these are films deemed to be “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant. Notably included in the wide range of films are The Empire Strikes Back, The Exorcist, All the President’s Men, Saturday Night Fever and Airplane!. A lot of 70’s classics are included as well as a handful of silent era films and George Lucas’ early short THX 1138 4EB which was later adapted into a theatrically released feature.
