As we continue to inch closer and closer to the release of Skyfall, the latest film in the James Bond franchise, we’re continuing to see little pieces of marketing goodies find their way online including multiple images, featurettes, and even the film’s theme song.
Today, thanks to Comic Book Movie, we have yet another TV spot for your viewing pleasure. It features mostly footage of the big action sequences that we’ve seen before, but it does feature at least a little bit of new material that has Daniel Craig showing off that incredible Bond charm.
Everything I’ve seen for this film thus far has given me the highest of hopes for it and I truly think that it will be a return to greatness for the series along the lines of Casino Royale, Craig’s extraordinary first outing as the super spy.
In case you’re still in the dark as to what Skyfall is about, here’s the official synopsis:
In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M (JUDI DENCH) is tested as her past returns to haunt her. 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
When Bond’s latest assignment goes gravely wrong and agents around the world are exposed, MI6 is attacked forcing M to relocate the agency. These events cause her authority and position to be challenged by Gareth Mallory (RALPH FIENNES), the new Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee. With MI6 now compromised from both inside and out, M is left with one ally she can trust: Bond. 007 takes to the shadows – aided only by field agent, Eve (NAOMIE HARRIS) – following a trail to the mysterious Silva (JAVIER BARDEM), whose lethal and hidden motives have yet to reveal themselves.
Skyfall hits theaters in the UK on October 26th and in the US on November 9th (November 8th in IMAX).
