Ubisoft has confirmed to CVG that the Wii U version of Assassin’s Creed III will feature the exact same downloadable content that is being planned for the game on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

In total, the company will launch five DLC packs (all of which are part of the $30 season pass). Three of those will be “all-new single-player campaigns” that are “available as a continual episodic story that will let players experience an alternate history of the American Revolution”. After those initial DLC releases, the publisher confirmed that they will continue to support Assassin’s Creed III with additional single-player and multiplayer content.

With the recent uncertainty concerning future DLC for the Wii U version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 it is reassuring to know that Ubisoft is planning to fully supporting Nintendo’s new console.

Assassin’s Creed III is scheduled to launch alongside the Wii U on November 18th.
