Microsoft announced today during their E3 2013 press conference that you will be able to broadcast games directly to your Twitch channel, and view content from other streamers, through the Xbox One console.
The Xbox One integration with Twitch was demonstrated during the conference by using a Kinect voice command to instantly stream a Killer Instinct match.
“Twitch is a premier destination for broadcasters and spectators. Now, with Twitch built into Xbox One, we will deliver breakthrough experiences where any gamer can become a broadcaster,” said Marc Whitten, Microsoft’s Chief Product Officer, Interactive Entertainment Business. “Enabled with Kinect, Xbox Live and Twitch, your voice and video allow for instant streaming, voiceover capabilities and interaction with viewers.”
Streaming to Twitch though the Xbox One will require an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
