Daniel Radcliffe Is Horny And American In First Horns Clip

Horns, Alexandre Aja's adaptation of Joe Hill's novel of the same name, premiered at this year's Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) to mixed reviews. The machinations of the crazy world of movies, where a film can premiere before a trailer or poster is even released, means that we are now getting the first footage of the film (via Collider), after we've offered you our review. Stupid, right?

Horns, Alexandre Aja’s adaptation of Joe Hill’s novel of the same name, premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) to mixed reviews. The machinations of the crazy world of movies, where a film can premiere before a trailer or poster is even released, means that we are now getting the first footage from Horns (via Collider), after we’ve already offered you our review. Stupid, right?

Anyway, here’s an exciting first clip of what our very own David Baldwin called “pretty messy and a near tonal disaster”:

As you can see, Daniel Radcliffe, who has become so horny that he has gained an American accent, is in a very bad way. He looks sick, he’s being threatened at gunpoint, and he is sickeningly deformed. Sickeningly. But why? Well, Daniel Radcliffe plays Ig Perrish, who stands accused of raping and murdering his girlfriend. Using his horned psychic abilities, he is intent on finding the real perpetrator and bringing them to justice, thereby avenging his girlfriend and clearing his name in the process.

Here at We Got This Covered, we also have horned protrusions that can read your innermost thoughts, and we’re picking up one question over and over again – “Who the hell is Alexandre Aja?” Well, he directed High Tension (Haute Tension, aka Switchblade Romance); Mirrors, and Pirahna 3D. Maybe the last two films aren’t that interesting, but High Tension was a phenomenal horror movie, extremely modern and, well, highly tense.

There’s no domestic distribution in place, trailer, or even a poster for Horns yet – the only images we’ve had so far are of an extremely distressed Daniel Radcliffe. The North American release is expected in 2014, so you’ve still got a little while to go before the “horny” jokes stop.
