Hands down, Breaking Bad is one of the best shows to ever grace television screens. AMC’s hit series has been stunning audiences for years now but with its final handful of episodes, which are leading up to the show’s finale on September 29th, Breaking Bad has cemented its status as one of television’s finest achievements.
It had been rumored previously that the final two episodes, Granite State and Felina, will both be longer than usual. Now it’s been confirmed that each episode will have an additional 15 minutes tacked on, making them 75 minutes long.
The news come to us via Co-Executive Producer Peter Gould’s Twitter account. You can check out his exact Tweet below:
I checked & it’s official. Last 2 #BreakingBad eps are 75 minutes each w/commercials. Set your DVRS accordingly. Better still, watch live!

Of course, this is fantastic news. We only have two episodes left of Breaking Bad until the show goes off air and the fact that they are both going to be extended is music to my ears. I’ve been seriously impressed with this final handful of episodes and after last week’s breathtaking Ozymandias, I cannot wait to see how Vince Gilligan and co. choose to wrap up the show.
Tell us, what do you think will happen in the last two episodes of Breaking Bad?
