Titanfall Will Arrive On March 11th, 2014, Collector’s Edition Announced

Respawn Entertainment has announced today that the highly anticipated Titanfall will be released on March 11th, 2014 in North America and on March 13th, 2014 in Europe. The game will be available for the Xbox One as well as the Xbox 360 and PC.

Respawn Entertainment has announced today that the highly anticipated Titanfall will be released on March 11th, 2014 in North America and on March 13th, 2014 in Europe. The game will be available for the Xbox One as well as the Xbox 360 and PC.

In addition to revealing the release date, Respawn also showed off the collector’s edition of the game. It will run you a hefty $249 but it does come with an 18-inch statue with a “motorized cockpit.” There’s also some other goodies included, like a 190-page artbook and a poster. A photo showing the entire package can be seen below.

Finally, the studio gave us a new image from the game to feast our eyes upon, which can be seen at the top of this post. It’s not terribly revealing but it does look pretty badass and only serves to further our excitement for what is sure to be one of the most impressive titles of 2014.

For those who don’t know, Titanfall is the brainchild of Call of Duty co-creator Vince Zampella, so expectations are sky high for this one. During its debut at E3 2013 it took home over 60 awards and it is by far one of the most buzzed about games right now.

Set in the near future on a distant frontier torn apart by war, Titanfall drops players in the middle of a conflict between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) and the Militia. The action is rapid and varied – featuring parkour-style wall running, massive double jumps and the ability to hijack Titans. The freedom to shift back and forth between Pilot and Titan allows players to change tactics on the fly, attacking or escaping depending on the situation and extending the action vertically to new heights.
