According to Hypable, who have heard from what they call a “very reliable” source, Jason Schwartzman may show up in Universal’s upcoming blockbuster Jurassic World. If he does indeed join the film, he’ll be co-starring alongside Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson and Josh Brolin.
That’s a pretty decent cast so far and it’s nice to see that everything is finally coming together for the long-gestating sequel. Unfortunately, plot details are still pretty thin and thus, we don’t have much to go on in terms of who these fine thesps will play, but the prospect of seeing them all on screen together is exciting nonetheless.
Though he’s not one for big-budget action movies, Schwartzman is an enjoyable actor who always delights when he’s on screen, especially when Wes Anderson is behind the camera. I’m not sure what type of role I could see him taking on in Jurassic World, but hopefully they have something well suited for his abilities. Whoever he ends up playing, it will likely be a supporting part but other than that, I can’t speculate any further.
It seems as if things are really starting to heat up now for Jurassic World, which means that we should be receiving some further plot/character details in the near future. Or at least we hope that’s the case. The cast is shaping up nicely but we really need something concrete in regards to the story. Hopefully it wont be too much longer now until we get that.
Tell us, what do you think of Jurassic World so far? Do you think it will be worth the wait? Is Schwartzman a solid addition to an already promising cast? Let us know.
