We live in an age of badass female characters, on both the big and small screen. Actor Katee Sackhoff, best known for playing tough but noble characters like Captain Kara “Starbuck” Thrace on Battlestar Galactica and Dahl in 2013’s Riddick, has turned her focus to many strong, physical roles throughout her career. Now, she has her sights set on two very intriguing parts: Harley Quinn, the Joker’s sidekick in many Batman series, and a Han Solo-like figure in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII.

“I would love to play Harley Quinn,” Sackhoff said in an interview with Total Film, when asked which comic book characters she would want to bring to the big screen. “I think I might give away my firstborn to have an opportunity to play Harley Quinn.” Although Quinn is one of the more popular female characters in the Batman comics, the character has never seen a live-action reincarnation.

With so many stars jumping on board Batman vs. Superman, which will likely spawn other spin-offs with Batman and various DC Comics characters, it’s certainly wise for Sackhoff to get her name into the discussion early on. Meanwhile, with the strong fan following she built during her time on Battlestar Galactica, Sackhoff could also be a potential name-grabber for Fox’s upcoming series Gotham, which will focus on a young Commissioner Gordon.

As for her dream role in a galaxy far, far away, Sackhoff said that she would be thrilled to be a part of the forthcoming Star Wars installments. “Star Wars meant everything to me growing up,” she explained. “The sad thing is, I never wanted to be Princess Leia, I always wanted to be Han Solo!”

With many actors rumored but unconfirmed for Star Wars: Episode VII, Sackhoff’s idea of playing another snarky, Starbuck-like warrior in space is likely nothing more than a pipe dream. However, at least sci-fi fans already know she has the chops to play a character in J.J. Abrams’ highly-anticipated epic. I mean, isn’t Starbuck already like space cowboy Han Solo’s long-lost daughter?
