Though January is often filled with duds and absolute train-wrecks, the end of the month tends to bring with it some movies that are, at the very least, watchable. This year is no different as after having to suffer through efforts like Hercules: The Legend Begins, The Nut Job and Devil’s Due, things are finally starting to look up again for the world of cinema as this week sees the release of two promising films: Labor Day and That Awkward Moment.
We’re here to talk about the latter though as it stars three of Hollywood’s hottest young actors (Miles Teller, Zac Efron and Michael B. Jordan). In Tom Gormican’s directorial debut, we watch as the trio of aforementioned actors make a pact to stay single and help one another in aiding the treacherous NYC social scene. The film is funny, it has heart and most importantly, it’s one of the few decent movies to hit cinemas all month.
Today, to celebrate the release, we have a new clip to share with you. It features Zac Efron’s Jason arriving to a party hosted by a girl that he’s falling head over heels for. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a miscommunication and it’s not quite the part that he thought it was.
Check out the clip below and be sure to catch That Awkward Moment, now playing in theatres!
