Yesterday, Marvel gave away exclusive Avengers: Age of Ultron posters to fans lucky enough to get to the film’s booth at San Diego Comic-Con, with the promise that more would follow. The first two posters featured Iron Man and Scarlet Witch battling it out with the Iron Legion, and today we have two more to add to the collection.
Captain America and Black Widow are the latest to join the fray, with glimpses of Hulk, Thor, and Quicksilver visible around the edges. That means that the posters will all connect to form one gigantic collage showcasing Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as they struggle to defeat Ultron’s robotic army.
The concept art featured in the posters was drawn by Marvel Studios veterans Ryan Meinerding and Andy Park and give us a great idea of the kind of scale Joss Whedon is hoping to utilize with this film. Tony Stark must have been exceptionally busy since Iron Man 3, creating countless robots he hoped would help him save the world. It’s too bad that Ultron, his latest creation, had other plans.
Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1st, 2015. Now that SDCC is in full swing, we should be seeing some more posters and artwork from Marvel as the studio gets fans hyped up for its Hall H presentation on Saturday. Check out the new posters below, as well as an image of the larger collage so far, and if you’re at SDCC make sure to swing by the Marvel booth, #2329, and pick up a poster or two for yourself before they run out (if they haven’t already).
