The power of the Wraith will allow players to do magical things in Monolith Productions’ Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor; things that have been detailed, once again, via the game’s latest trailer. None of this is really news, though, considering how much we’ve already seen of said Wraith abilities, thanks to previously-released videos and walkthroughs.
If you’ve yet to see anything from, or hear anything about Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, it’s important to note that the game’s main character, Talion, is imbued with spiritual powers that give him an advantage on the battlefield. This includes being able to track enemies through walls, read their minds and use their fears against them in order to achieve an intended result. Said gift will apparently play a pivotal role in what looks to be a very solid action/adventure game, which just so happens to have one of the best settings in popular fiction.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor will launch on September 30th, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. PC gamers will have to wait a few days, before being able to return to Tolkien’s fantasy world on October 2nd.
