To say that Ummet Ozcan is having a good year would be a bit of an understatement. At #31 on the 2014 DJ Mag Top 100 poll, he was the highest climber, rising an astonishing 68 spots. Not only that, but he also featured on Calvin Harris’ new album, Motion, and has released several successful singles of his own, with the most recent one being “SuperWave.”
This past weekend, the Turkish-Dutch DJ touched down in Florida for EDC Orlando. While there, we caught up with him for a brief, but enjoyable interview in which he discussed working with Calvin Harris, how it feels to be the highest climber on the DJ Mag poll, upcoming collaborations that we can look forward to, and much more.
