At long last, Evolution Studios has confirmed that the latest update for its beleaguered racing sim DriveClub will add dynamic weather — a feature that was originally promised “shortly after” launch.
Now, almost two months later, the patch is finally live to download on PlayStation 4, and will also introduce budding racers to a pair of brand new tracks — Atlanterhavsvegen in Norway and Sinclair Pass in Canada, to be specific — along with a hoard of fixes both minor and major, and you can check out the comprehensive patch notes down below.
Having originally debuted exclusively for PlayStation 4 back in October, DriveClub has encountered its fair share of problems. During its first days on the market, Evolution’s title was practically unplayable, with users struggling to gain access to an online race let alone the game’s plethora of additional features.
And while this is the latest in a string of incremental updates, we’re holding out hope that the studio has turned a corner and that the majority of DriveClub‘s issues are, for the most part, in its proverbial rear view mirror.
