Alesso took to BBC Radio 1 tonight to debut his new song “Cool,” which is due out in Europe on the 16th, North America on the 17th and the UK on April 26th.
With LA native Roy English on vocals, the radio-friendly track, which samples Kylie Minogue’s “Get Outta My Way,” is a bit more low key than the Swede’s usual music, but with its catchy synth beat and beautiful piano-based melody, it makes for another uplifting, progressive house club anthem that is sure to be a big crossover hit for the DJ.
Also, in case you’re wondering, “Cool” will be making an appearance on Alesso’s upcoming debut album alongside already released tracks “Heroes” and “Tear The Roof Up,” and while I do, admittedly, like those two songs a bit better than this one, I’m definitely enjoying “Cool,” a lot, and I appreciate the slight change of pace from his previous two singles.
