Over the past few days, Square Enix has been staging quite the elaborate marketing campaign in order to unveil a brand new game coming from one of the publisher’s Western studios. Such an intriguing viral bonanza largely took place on Twitch under the moniker Can’t Kill Progress — hence why it was being referred to as Project CKP — though untimely leaks have undercut the clandestine crusade and, crucially, revealed exactly what this mysterious project is.
That new title in question is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which is also the headline star of May’s Game Informer issue, confirming its existence to be true. Since the leak, Square has been scrambling to keep a lid on all of the information pertaining to the sequel and its related assets, though since such is the nature of the Internet, a select handful of screenshots and the aforementioned magazine cover have already found their way online. It’s understood the Japanese publisher will formally reveal Mankind Divided later today.
