With Avengers: Age of Ultron and Mad Max: Fury Road now in our proverbial rear view mirror, one summer blockbuster catching everyone's eye of late is Colin Trevorrow's sequel-cum-reboot, Jurassic World, which is now a mere 3 weeks out from stomping into theaters.

With Avengers: Age of Ultron and Mad Max: Fury Road now in our proverbial rear view mirror, one summer blockbuster catching everyone’s eye of late is Colin Trevorrow’s sequel-cum-reboot, Jurassic World, which is now a mere 3 weeks out from stomping into theaters.

That can only mean one thing: Universal is beginning to ramp up the film’s appropriately massive marketing campaign, and today the studio has debuted a collection of screenshots along with a handful of TV spots containing some never-before-seen footage. At this point, Trevorrow’s film is long wrapped up, and some of the film’s leading stars – Chris Pratt included – are beginning to voice their early opinions on the final cut.

It’s all very positive, as one would expect, but the fact that Pratt underlines the film’s mammoth action sequences only has us giddy with excitement. Jurassic World is creeping ever closer to its anticipated release, with Colin Trevorrow’s summer blockbuster due to open on June 12.

Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure from a screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley join the team as producers.
