It’s no secret that right now is a big time in Alesso‘s life. The release of his debut album, Forever, has proven a worthy culmination of all the efforts he’s made over the course of his five-year music career, and the progressive house producer decided to celebrate that in the most meaningful way possible: a special performance in front of 10,000 people at the Ericsson Globe in his hometown of Stockholm, Sweden.
A brief mini-documentary directed by Henrik Hanson details the behind-the-scenes process leading up to the performance. Between Alesso admitting to sinking all of his own money into the show and digging up the “lucky shoes” he wore during his first Coachella gig, the documentary paints a picture of how eagerly he looked forward to the affair. Sebastian Ingrosso even makes a brief appearance to offer his protege heartfelt encouragement.
“Is this the most important show in your career?” Hanson asks at one point in the video.
“I think this is the most important show I’ll ever do,” Alesso responds.
The Swede has admitted to being an emotional person often in the past, and he definitely allows his fans to see this side of him more vividly in the above documentary.
