The wait is finally over: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming, and the world will get to see it in action in just under a week’s time. Announced back in April, the Cyberpunk-themed sequel had naught but a short teaser trailer attached to the press release, but now, we’re on the brink of getting some tasty new information.
So far, all we know is that yes, Adam Jensen will be returning as the grizzled and cybernetically-enhanced ex-cop from Human Revolution, and that stealth gameplay will featureĀ in a big way. The first game in the rebooted series was critically acclaimed upon its release back in 2011, but heavy criticism was levelled at its linear boss battles that required the player to engage in open combat.
In Mankind Divided, however, Eidos Montreal are promising that even boss fights will be surmountable by using stealth. According to the image below, posted on the game’s official Twitter page, the gameplay world premier will be on June 16, so expect to see it as part of Square Enix’s conference come Tuesday.
