Another gift of gamescom is this brand new Forza Motorsport 6 trailer, which takes the form of an interview/dev diary and focuses on wet weather.
Filmed during professional IndyCar driver Josef Newgarden’s visit to Turn 10 Studios following his win at the Toronto Indy, the video in question promotes the game by getting his educated feedback on its weather systems. The rain, specifically, because Forza Motorsport 6 now has the wet stuff coded into its DNA.
It’s interesting to hear what a professional driver thinks of Turn 10’s work, and it’s great to note that he thinks the rain mechanics are ‘perfect.’ I’m not saying that merely because I’m a Forza fan, myself, but because it’s further evidence of just how far video games have come.
Alas, it won’t be long before we’ll all be able to go hands-on with Forza Motorsport 6, as the Xbox One exclusive launches on September 15th.
