Activision has revealed early concept art of a reimagined version of Nuketown, the popular multiplayer map that made its debut back in 2010, confirming that the locale will be available as a pre-order bonus in this year’s upcoming sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

According to Treyarch – the studio taking the reins of the series for its 2015 outing as part of Call of Duty‘s new three-tier development cycle – Nuketown has received a new coat of paint ahead of its debut on current-gen consoles. Specifically, the level design has been reworked to allow for the enhanced locomotion and movement found in Black Ops III.

Controversial though they may be, Activision has indeed confirmed that Nuketown will be a pre-order exclusive perk (it’s exclusive to GAME in the UK), and it’s worth nothing that the revamped arena won’t be available for the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 versions of the upcoming shooter.

In related news, the mega-company recently provided a status report on the recent multiplayer beta that was hosted on PlayStation platforms, which reportedly attracted millions of shooter fans across its week-long run.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III will drag Activision’s juggernaut into the year 2065 when it launches for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on November 6.
