Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher is coming to Hell’s Kitchen for Daredevil season 2 – and he’s bringing an arsenal along with him for the ride.

Taking to Twitter, the fan-favorite actor posted a picture showcasing the armory belonging to one Frank Castle, and it’s certainly one that will have Matt Murdock’s Man Without Fear crawling the walls. Now that season 2 has been billed as “Daredevil vs. Punisher,” fans are chomping at the bit to see Castle’s musclebound anti-hero go toe-to-toe with Charlie Cox’s Murdock, and their rivalry will surely underpin the next batch of episodes when they hit Netflix.

Without further ado, here’s the picture that Bernthal shared on his social media account.

Captioned simply with ‘PUNISH’, Bernthal is really throwing himself into Castle. Over the years, we’ve seen the intensity that the actor brings to his roles, be it The Walking Dead‘s loose cannon, Shane, or The Wolf of Wall Street‘s brilliantly over-the-top crook, Brad Bodnick.

As for Daredevil, the actor has a sizeable void to fill if his villain really is to be more memorable than Vincent D’Onofrio’s scenery-chewing turn as Kingpin. Set photos from the show’s New York production have only inspired us with confidence, though, with Bernthal portraying a dark and volatile persona, even without the added color correction and non-diegetic music. Beyond that, there’s also the inclusion of Elodie Yung’s Elektra to stoke excitement ahead of Daredevil‘s return next year.

Marvel’s small-screen universe is beginning to take shape, with Jessica Jones primed to debut later this year and Luke Cage adding new cast members by the day. Daredevil will continue to build that shared space when all 13 episodes of season 2 hit Netflix in 2016.
