Despite the franchise’s sixty five year history, The Peanuts Movie will mark the first time Charlie Brown and the rest of these iconic characters have been brought to the big screen. As you can see from the trailer above, the animated feature looks like tremendous fun and definitely seems to be sticking to the tone and humour which has made this group so beloved.
Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved Peanuts gang will make their big-screen debut like we’ve never been seen before – in state of the art 3D animation.
In the film, Snoopy, the world’s most lovable beagle – and flying ace – embarks upon his greatest mission yet, as he takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis The Red Baron, while his best pal, Charlie Brown, begins his own epic quest. From the imagination of Charles M. Schulz and the creators of the Ice Age films, 20th Century Fox promises that, “The Peanuts Movie will prove that every underdog has his day.”
Produced by Paul Feig and the sons of Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz, Craig Schulz and Bryan Schulz, The Peanuts Movie is set to be released this November.
