With early opinions already out in the ether – a mixed bag, mind you – MGM and Sony’s marketing campaign for Sam Mendes’ soon-to-be-released action thriller Spectre is beginning to reach its crescendo.

Now that there’s little over two weeks to go before the film’s long-awaited debut in North America, the studios have unveiled a bevy of enticing clips and images for the actioner, teasing some of the thrills and spills we can expect when Daniel Craig’s James Bond embarks on his latest globe-trotting mission.

Perhaps more so than any of Craig’s outings before it, Spectre will place a laser focus on the murky past of MI6’s most decorated 00 agent. All of this will culminate in Bond facing off against one Franz Oberhauser (Christoph Waltz, and possibly Blofeld), who harbors a deep, almost fatherly connection to our shaken and stirred operative.

Though Craig and Waltz will likely chew up much of the scenery, Naomie Harris, Ben Wishaw, Rory Kinnear, Ralph Fiennes, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux and Sherlock alum Andrew Scott complete the cast.

Spectre will open in UK cinemas first on October 26, before hopping across the pond to open across North America on November 7. To whet your appetite for Mendes’ acclaimed follow-up, check out the slew of clips down below.

A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond (Daniel Craig) on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE.
