Little is known about the first piece of downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, though a basic release window was revealed today during Sony’s PlayStation Experience keynote.
Don’t get too excited about this announcement, though, because it’s mostly just the obvious; that being that Call of Duty: Black Ops III will receive its first planned DLC expansion sometime in “early 2016.” Yes, that’s all that they revealed today, which is certainly going to be disappointing for fans of the franchise.
Sony needed to say something about the series at PSX, though, given how the electronics giant paid for timed DLC exclusivity and will receive the packs 30 days earlier than its competition.
