After years of anticipation, the seventh chapter in the Star Wars saga had its worldwide premiere last night in Los Angeles. Attendees for Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ first public screening included the cast and crew, a raft of Hollywood’s finest A-list talent and of course, plenty of press.
While the main reviews are still being kept under wraps until 12.01am PST tonight, that’s not stopped those present at the premiere from hitting social media. Bite-size capsule reviews dominated Twitter as soon as the movie let out, and we now have the first reactions.
So, what did that lucky bunch have to say about J.J. Abrams’ second stab at a beloved sci-fi franchise? Here’s a select crop of Tweets from those attendees. And don’t worry, all of these reactions are spoiler-free.
Our very own Isaac Feldberg loved #StarWars #TheForceAwakens. Check back tonight for the full review! https://t.co/ki29HVwVST
