Falling into a similar category to Angry Birds, Hello Kitty and Hasbro’s Monopoly movie, we’re still coming to terms with the fact that DreamWorks’ Trolls movie is actually a thing – a thing replete with a release date and ensemble cast.

Hot on the heels of Justin Timberlake announcing that he would executive produce and craft original music for the film, DreamWorks Animation has rolled out cast photos showcasing Anna Kendrick (Princess Poppy), Russell Brand (Creek), Gwen Stefani (DJ Suki), YouTube personality GloZell Green as Grandma Rosiepuff, Kunal Nayyar (Guy Diamond), comedian Ron Funches (Cooper), Meg DeAngelis as Moxie and talented Swedish musical duo, Icona Pop as the Fashionistas. That’s quite the ensemble, and you can get acquainted with both the bite-sized fuzzy toys and their human counterparts in the gallery above.

At the core of Trolls is an epic adventure that unites Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake), which is hardly surprising given the latter’s musical background and Kendrick’s experience flexing her vocal chords in Universal’s Pitch Perfect franchise.

DreamWorks describes the story as so:

“Setting out on an epic adventure that takes Poppy and Branch far beyond the only world they have ever known, their quest will test their strength and reveal their true colors – with no shortage of musical mash-ups along the way!”

Now that we can put a name to a face – or, more appropriately, Troll – it should be only a matter of time before the studio drops our first peek at what Mike Mitchell and Walt Dohrn are cooking up.

Trolls is set to dance and sing its way into theaters on November 4, 2016.
