Buoyed by the success of its inaugural press event last year, Bethesda has locked down the date for its E3 2016 showcase, which is set to take place on Sunday, June 12.

Poised to “shine the spotlight on its upcoming lineup of games,” fans can surely look forward to a status report on Arkane Studios’ clandestine sequel Dishonored 2, along with the possible announcement of a new Wolfenstein game and a follow-up to Shinji Mikami’s stylish horror title, The Evil Within.

Of course, concrete details are being locked away behind close doors until the curtain comes down on June 12, though Bethesda did release a brief teaser for its E3 2016 showcase, along with the festivities to follow shortly thereafter.

Bethesda will shine the spotlight on its upcoming lineup of games. Along with new gameplay and electrifying updates, we’ve evolved BE3, adding a whole new part to the event: BE3 Plus. Immediately after the Showcase ends, attendees will enjoy a special Bethesda E3 experience, complete with game demos, hosted interviews and a variety of food and drinks. And, for those in attendance, we’ve even got a top-secret band taking the stage at 9pm PDT. You won’t want to miss their performance!

Save the date – Bethesda will take to the stage on Sunday, June 12 at 6:15 PT/9.15pm ET/2am UK to showcase its upcoming software roster. If 2015 was anything to go by, the event looks set to act as a primer for E3 2016 itself, which will get underway with the major press conferences on Monday, before opening to the public later in the week.
