Total War: Warhammer developer Creative Assembly has revealed its post-launch plans for the game and, besides a gigantic list of paid-for DLC planned for the months following release day, the studio’s also got a bunch of completely free content in the works for fans to enjoy.
You can see the full details on all of the planned future content by heading over to the Total War blog, but here’s a condensed, general overview for those of you who don’t have time to read an essay-length post.
Lord Packs
Contain new Legendary Lords and supporting units and characters for existing playable races.
Race Packs
Introduce a new playable Race to the game, either as a first appearance, or adding a full Unit roster, Heroes, Lords and playable Legendary Lords to non-playable existing races in the core game.
Campaign Packs
For use in the Grand Campaign and Multiplayer, but also add a new Challenge Campaign to the game. These are self-contained Campaigns themed on an epic event from the Warhammer Lore.
As for the forthcoming free DLC for Total War: Warhammer, Creative Assembly haven’t provided any specific details on release dates for each or how much content each one will come packed with, but they did provide a handy image that provides a brief glimpse at the sorts of things you can expect.
