Following up on the surprise release of their single “Beggars” last week, EDM’s sister act Krewella took to social media today to release a new video, simultaneously announcing the release date of a forthcoming EP while recapping the last year of their life on the road as one of the top group’s in dance music.
In the video, Yasmine narrates several notable moments throughout the band’s career, detailing the earliest days of Krewella and addressing the issues that erupted between former member Kris Trindl and ultimately resulted in his departure from the group. Set to behind the scenes footage of the Yousaf sisters along their travels and performing on stage, the video serves as an emotional summation of Krewella’s history.
Lastly, Yasmine announces at the end of the clip that Krewella will be releasing a new EP titled Ammunition on May 20, which will serve as the first collection of songs released since their debut album Get Wet in 2013.
