After watching some of its peers enter the EA Access Vault, NBA Live 16 has received its summons. The basketball game — which received middling reviews and was kind of forgotten under the shadow of 2K’s NBA 2K16 — will become free to play through the subscription service later this month.
As mentioned, this isn’t the first EA Sports game to enter the Vault in recent months. Not only will it join both NHL 16 and FIFA 16, but also Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, which went in last. This makes the service a great deal for sports fans, especially since these games’ 2017 sequels have yet to be released.
NBA Live 16 will become free-to-play through EA Access come May 25th. Those who subscribe will be able to download it without any sort of charge, whereas new customers are looking at a $4.99 monthly fee or a $29.99 annual subscription cost.
