In all fairness, “Broken Record” sounds quite a bit better than everything else Krewella has put out following their split with DJ/producer Rain Man A.K.A. Kris Trindl. Melodic trap sound design elements underscore the Yousaf sisters’ catchy verses, and while the chorus leaves something to be desired, it also doesn’t ruin the track outright.

The Yousaf sisters parted ways with Trindl in a less-than-amicable fashion back in 2014. However, both parties reached a settlement before their case went to trial, and Trindl even praised the sisters’ new music when we met up with him in Miami.

As far as Krewella‘s Sweatbox Tour is concerned, each of the 16 stops will take place at a smaller, more intimate venue – so a limited number of fans who submit a request for tickets will be selected at random to attend. The request period ends on the 18th, so if you find your city on the list of tour dates below, make sure to submit a request by clicking here.
