If last week’s clip drew attention to Stephen Amell’s vigilante ally Casey Jones, it is the villainous Krang that takes center stage in two all-new TV spots for blockbuster sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
Sporting heavy firepower, the iconic big bad rains down chaos on the streets of the Big Apple, while there are also shots of Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael getting to grips with Krang’s bumbling henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady. They’ll be voiced by Gary Anthony Williams and WWE fan-favorite Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly, respectively, with the remainder of the cast being rounded out by Megan Fox – stepping into the shoes of series stalwart April O’Neil once more – Tyler Perry, Will Arnett, William Fichtner and Laura Linney.
Paramount Pictures has slated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows for release on June 3. To get up to speed with our half-shell heroes and their new nemesis, check out today’s pair of TV spots, below.
Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil, Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones. After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
