Leading that cast is Ender’s Game star Asa Butterfield as Jake, a teenager struggling with a recent tragedy who comes across the titular abode and becomes enchanted by its otherworldly possibilities. The home is managed by Eva Green’s Miss Peregrine, who in a Professor X kind of way, takes care of a host of ‘peculiars’ all of whom exhibit strange and wonderful abilities.
