Suicide Squad Gets An Extended Comic-Con Trailer

Earlier today at San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. sent the crowd in Hall H into an absolute frenzy. Kicking things off with an unbelievable first trailer for Wonder Woman, the studio soon followed that up with our first look at Justice League. Then, as if all that wasn't enough, they dropped yet another look at David Ayer's Suicide Squad, giving us one last glimpse of the movie before it hits theatres in two weeks' time.

Admittedly, at this point, it seems like we’ve seen almost too much of the film, so coming hot on the heels of the previews for Justice League and Wonder Woman, it is a bit underwhelming. I mean, do we really need yet another trailer for Suicide Squad? Don’t get me wrong, I think the DC Comics adaptation looks absolutely fantastic, but it’s been marketed to death at this point and the studio is seriously at risk of overkill with all the promo material they’re shoving down our throats.

Still, if you just can’t get enough of Task Force X, and I’m sure there are a lot of you who can’t, strap in and check out the extended trailer above, as it does show off a bit of new footage (mostly of Enchantress) in addition to reminding us just why this may be the best comic book movie of 2016.

Suicide Squad launches headfirst into theatres on August 5, 2016 and stars Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo and Adam Beach as Slipknot.
