The new ID features all the tried and true trademarks we’ve come to expect from deadmau5, with gradually evolving analog synth progressions and spellbinding melodies. The clip that’s surfaced is largely without percussion until four on the floor kicks join the mix around the halfway mark, and then comes to a close with a somber ambient pad section.

The clip is only a little over four minutes long, but considering deadmau5‘s penchant for releasing music with staggering track lengths, it’s likely only a section of the finished product, which we hope to see included on his upcoming studio album.
