Fifth Harmony only released their latest record, 7/27, a couple of months ago, but that isn’t stopping the “Work From Home” girls from planning well into the future when it comes to new music. Despite rumblings of member Camila Cabello possibly going solo following her single with Machine Gun Kelly, the group is already thinking about album number three.
Talking with Digital Spy, Fifth Harmony say that their next album will be “totally different” and that whatever they do will be “next level.” There’s no doubt there – even the shift in sound from their debut record, Reflection, to 7/27 was pretty impressive, and there was only a year and a half gap there.
Whether there will be a longer wait in between this record and the next remains to be seen, but they’ve got no problem staying in the spotlight in the meantime. Their recent single, “That’s My Girl,” is steadily making its way to the top twenty on Pop radio, and they’ll be pushing it some more with their performance at the American Music Awards later this month.
Additionally, Fifth Harmony revealed that they’d love to collaborate with fellow girl group Little Mix, so maybe new music from them won’t be as far away as it seems.
