Last week, deadmau5 finally released his long awaited new studio LP W:/2016Album, breaking the two year silence since he dropped his previous record while(1<2). Just after releasing the new album, the Canadian producer returned to announce the Lots Of Shows In A Row tour, which is set to commence early next year. As if that weren’t enough to keep fans busy, deadmau5 has now revealed that more music will be arriving shortly.
During one of his frequent live streams, the musician revealed he will be releasing twenty more tracks on iTunes in celebration of W:/2016Album. While we don’t have a release date or tracklist yet, what we do know is that the forthcoming collection of tunes will feature remastered versions of songs both old and new, and deadmau5 promises he will “try and get it done fast.”
With more music and a new tour on the way, deadmau5 fans are certainly in store for plenty of exciting things in the coming months. The producer even hinted at the possibility of an upgraded stage production with a Tweet that read “Cube 2.1,” so we may have that to look forward to on the Lots of Shows In A Row tour as well.
Cube 2.1 😉
