Seeing as the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War arrived back in November, we’ve been due another look at Marvel’s much anticipated event movie for a while. Initial rumours told us it would be here at the end of February, following the TV spot full of fresh material that aired during the Super Bowl. That obviously didn’t happen, though, and now, a new promo suggests that another preview could be on the way quite soon. Specifically, tomorrow – March 13th.
Marvel India’s YouTube channel shared a short video promising that a “Hindi Teaser Trailer” is due for release tomorrow. The wording suggests this could simply be a dubbed version of the first teaser that dropped a few months ago, but let’s be real – all the signs are pointing to us getting another fresh promo for the movie this week.
For one, Marvel Studios exec Louis D’Esposito told fans a few days back to “be patient” and promised that a new trailer was “coming.” What’s more, Entertainment Weekly’s Hulk-sized coverage of Infinity War revved up our excitement for the film to insurmountable levels. Couple that with the fact that a new sneak peek is on the way from ET later today, and it’d make sense for Marvel to capitalize on all this by serving up some more footage.
Of course, it goes without saying that Avengers: Infinity War’s expected to be the biggest Marvel movie of the year by far, but it turns out that it’ll have a closer contender than expected now in Black Panther. Chadwick Boseman’s solo film just superseded The Dark Knight to become the most successful standalone superhero pic of all time, as well as clinching a host of other records.
Nevertheless, the massive box office takings of previous Avengers movies suggest that Infinity War will be another $1 billion plus earner for the studio and could just end up as one of the highest grossing films of all-time. We’ll have to wait and see just how far it’ll reach, but in the meantime, be sure to keep an eye out for the next, and presumably final Avengers: Infinity War trailer, as it’ll likely be here tomorrow.
