Deadpool 2 Makes Fun Of Several Avengers, And It’s Hilarious

When it comes to breaking the fourth wall, no one does it quite like Wade Wilson, and sure enough, Deadpool 2 takes several jabs at Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Is there another superhero out there who’s able to break the fourth wall like Wade Wilson?

Ahead of the release of Deadpool 2, Ryan Reynolds’ irreverent, gun-toting mercenary has been taking jabs at Disney, Josh Brolin, Céline Dion (!) and even the DC Extended Universe. And that’s just the promotional campaign we’re talking about.

Because in the film itself, the Merc with a Mouth takes aim at a lot more, including famous celebrities, fictional characters, Fortune 500 companies, etc. In David Leitch’s upcoming sequel, everything’s fair game, including Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Yes, you didn’t think Wade Wilson would let a film go by without taking a chance to throw a few jabs at his competitors, now did you? In fact, they may actually be his teammates soon enough if that Disney/Fox merger goes through, but for the time being, the Avengers are most definitely competition for DP and of course, he has more than a handful of jokes at their expense in Deadpool 2.

Some of these you may have seen in the promos or trailers that’ve been released, but we put together a list of all the ones we caught while watching the film, which you can check out below.

Deadpool calls Dopinder Brown Panther at one point.

While talking to Cable, Wade says “Zip it, Thanos!”

Referring to Domino, DP says she’s the Black Black Widow

After making Cable angry, the Merc asks the audience, “What’d I do to piss off a grumpy old f**ker with a Winter Soldier arm?

After temporarily losing his powers, Deadpool comments on how useless he feels, stating that if we gave him a bow and arrow, he’d basically be Hawkeye.

Pretty funny, eh? And of course, it’s not only Earth’s Mightiest Heroes who Deadpool takes aim at, as like we said above, no one’s safe from his mile-a-minute mouth. So be sure to keep those ears open when you head to theaters to check out the much anticipated sequel this weekend.
